Looking to adopt a pet? Hong Kong’s shelters and rescue centres are overflowing with animals of all shapes and sizes just waiting for a forever home. Many have been abandoned or mistreated, while others have been left behind when their owners relocate. If you’re looking for a family pet, rescuing a dog or cat is a great way to give an animal a second chance. You may find the one your family is looking for right here on our new Pet of the Week page! This week we’re featuring Goldie who is currently being cared for by the team at Sai Kung Stray Friends.
Goldie is a lovely, gentle older lady (8 years old). She would be the ideal pet for families as she is great with children, as well as other dogs. She is in excellent health, has been desexed, vaccinated, and had everything necessary done. She was a loosely owned village dog on SKSF’s Meals on Wheels program and she had been fed, monitored and taken in for vaccinations etc for many years. She was taken in to the kennels when she was found to have a massive wound on her back last year, and after being treated she is now ready for a permanent loving home. Her beautiful looks are matched by her beautiful temperament.
Anyone interested in Goldie is welcome to visit her at the kennels at 151 Tai Lam Wu, Ho Chung, Sai Kung, or please phone Narelle on 9199 2340
