Kid Fest returns to Hong Kong this month with nine stages and tons of fun activities for all the family! Dedicated to educating children and parents about live theatre you can expect performance from kids favourites like; The Gruffalo, Little Red Riding Hood, 3 Little Pigs and more!  Off the stage, there will also be on-site entertainment such as a photo booth and face painting available for the audience at selected shows

The Cat Street Gallery and China Art Projects are thrilled to announce their joint venture in an exciting Back to the Future exhibition exploring themes illustrated in the popular American adventure comedy. The aim? This question: Where does Hong Kong find itself in the now thriving art and cultural world of an emergent Asia – does it look backward for inspiration for both its present and its future or does it ignore its past histories and speed full throttle into the future? 18 Hong Kong artists will address these questions in a unique body of work for Back to the Future exhibition.

It’s all going on down at Udderbelly this week! One of the UK’s biggest comedians is heading over to the 852 for his first visit! Previously selling out every arena in England, and in 2011 becoming the youngest comic ever to sell-out London’s largest arena, this is one guy you don’t want to miss seeing! You better act fast though, tickets are sold out on Ticketflap, but you may still be able to find some being sold on some Facebook groups–keep your eyes peeled!

23 Jan: Meats & Beats at the Blue Butcher

11 – 4pm, 108 Hollywood Rd

Get funky with your fried eggs! Expat Living favourite; Blue Butcher, is putting on a top notch brunch with some of Hong Kong’s best known resident DJ’s. Expect bubbles and beats, meat and music, beer and beef and vinly and veggies! DJ’s RE: Flex, Woodtek, and Mike Wolf will be spinning the decks while you enjoy either a $650 brunch and free flow or just free flow for $280 (2 – 4pm)
