We’re letting you in on one of Santa’s little secrets: The Prestige Fairs at the Conrad Hong Kong. Head to this shopping bonanza on 18 November and you’ll find loads of Christmas gift ideas from exclusive artisanal products to local and international brands. We take a look at just five fab stalls you’ll see at this Christmas fair in HK!
Gifts that give back
This iconic family business creates gifts, books, stationery and prints with a Hong Kong flavour! Make sure to check out their new 1000-piece Vintage Hong Kong puzzle by local artist Catherine Choi. And the 2025 calendar features 12 local artists and photographers in support of charity Mind HK. For kids, there’s a classic wooden Yum Cha Tea Set and card games with a Hong Kong twist. Additionally they have a whole range of homewares, festive tea towels, hanging decorations and glass ornaments inspired by Hong Kong.
Complete your Christmas gifts with one of the charity Christmas Cards and gift wrapping. All profits from this collection will be split between Mother’s Choice and the HK Biodiversity Museum.
Send a letter to Santa
Have you been good this year? The North Pole Post is officially sending mail online and in paper form. So you can ask Santa if his elves can make that special Christmas gift you’ve been hoping for. Little ones who are on the nice list will even get a personalised reply from him! These letters are beautifully designed, hand-finished and sprinkled with Christmas magic. Vi Galerie also has a beautiful range of Christmas decorations including a cute gingerbread man serving plate, cupcake ornaments and light-up gingerbread houses for your holiday display.
Watercolour creations
Do hand-painted watercolour designs, modern Hong Kong vibes and oriental art sound like an exciting combination? We think so too – and By Maman La Terre uses these prints to create an array of useful household products. There are tea towels, table runners and tote bags, plus placemats, scarves, aprons, prints and more. In addition, if you’d like to try your hand at creating some art of your own, they also run watercolour workshops. So if you’re looking for some Christmas gift ideas for an art lover in your life, grab them a gift to open on Christmas, organise a class or buy them both!
Hong Kong’s pulse in print
With a brand name like Crafty Bitch, of course this artist’s work is bold, fabulous and colourful! Lindsey McAlister creates some seriously cool designs that aim to capture the essence of Hong Kong beyond just the main sites. We’re talking layer upon layer of HK icons. For example, the Big Buddha, egg tarts, traditional Chinese hot water flasks, moon cakes and pink dolphins all feature in just one of her works. These mixed media artworks are a captivating love letter to Hong Kong’s reputation as a cultural kaleidoscope. They make a great Christmas gift idea for someone who wants a slice of Hong Kong’s soul for their home and something they can take with them wherever they go.
Are you a self-diagnosed Cheese-a-holic?
There’s almost nothing in this world that can bring us more happiness than cheese! And luckily for us, Hong Kong’s Kaas Atelier is bringing an entire stall-load of Hugo’s Cheese to the Prestige Fair! Behind this brand of dairy delights is Hugo De Group, an atelier from dairy co-operative FrieslandCampina who studied a master’s degree in cheese. If you need some Christmas gift ideas for foodie in your life this is a stall to see. Drawing from 60 years of cheese-farming traditions, he’s bringing an excellent range to Hong Kong, including Beemster Royaal and Extra-Old (X-O) cheeses, plus Dutch and Belgian cheeses, alongside six young cheese balls.
