The festive season is in full swing, which means the Prestige Fairs are back at the Conrad Hong Kong. If you’re feeling stuck for Christmas gift ideas, don’t get your tinsel in a tangle. The Hong Kong Christmas 2023 Gift and Lifestyle Fair has a huge collection of artisanal products from around the world that are sure to impress even the fussiest people to find presents for. Here’s a look at just seven companies you’ll see at these Christmas fairs in Hong Kong.
#1 Cream + Sprinkle
Love to bake? Cream + Sprinkle is well known for its edible party favours and baking boxes that make great festive gifting and playdate activity. Its signature edible Cocoa Cups provide a fun, all-in-one D-I-Y experience and are made with oats and hand-dipped in luxurious chocolate.
At the Fair, look out for their new exciting D-I-Y baking collection that will keep little ones engaged and entertained during the holidays.
#2 HK Trails
This brand is created and run by a husband-and-wife team that loves hiking and has the goal of tackling all of Hong Kong’s many trails! That’s also why they created their first product, a hiking scratch map. It’s a fun and beautiful way to keep track of your hikes and motivate you to do more. From there, they expanded to develop more fab HK-themed products.
New this year is their Hiking Gift Set, ideal for those ready to explore Hong Kong’s nature wonderland. It includes all the essentials (and some non-essential fun!) for hitting the trails, with all items themed around Hong Kong’s iconic hikes. There’s well over HK$1,000 worth of products, bundled together in a premium gift box for the great price of just $595.
#3 Anna Smith Pottery
Anna is a highly skilled Ukrainian ceramicist living in Hong Kong whose training in London and Shanghai gives her a unique pottery perspective, blending both Eastern and Western styles.
In 2019, she founded Anna Smith Pottery, with designs inspired by her lived experience ranging from the Scottish Highlands to Jingdezhen, China. Each unique piece seamlessly blends beauty and functionality and is crafted by hand, using glazes that result in distinctive designs. The impressive range runs from everyday coffee cups, to serving platters and beautiful vases.
This year, Anna is presenting a new collection inspired by the Hebrides off the Scottish coast. Check her website to see the items currently available, or pay a visit at the Fair to see what’s available.

#5 Shilpa’s Masala Mill
The cornerstone of Shilpa’s Masala Mill is curating authentic, preservative-free, flavourful and economical masalas, freshly hand blended in small batches in Hong Kong. The company was founded by Shilpa Pednekar during COVID, with a vision to empower people to cook delectable and wholesome meals at home and create lifelong memories. From the popular Butter Chicken to the exceptional range of Maharashtrian Coastal Blends, Shilpa’s Masala Mill has every preference covered.
Plus, for Prestige Fairs, they’ve introduced an exclusive Essential 5 Starter Kit, featuring five of their best-sellers so you can embark on a curry journey.
#6 Deror Jewellery
Deror Jewellery – whose name derives from a Hebrew word meaning freedom – creates exquisite jewellery pieces that celebrate life’s special moments. The one-of-a-kind designs are inspired and crafted “to speak revelations of life through minimalist contemporary aesthetics”. The collections blend classic beauty with a modern twist, highlighted by their craftsmanship and attention to detail.
To celebrate its third anniversary, Deror Jewellery has launched a limited edition of its Twelve Stones Set with Gold and Silver, with just 30 pieces available. This was the brand’s first ever design, and the team says it reflects their founding story – and having the courage to start the business in the midst of the pandemic.
#7 VINO
The VINO team works directly with small family-run vineyards in Italy, championing lesser known native Italian grapes such as verdicchio and grechetto, and introducing Hongkongers to what they call the “good stuff that rarely leaves Italy”. VINO wines are super small batch, with average production just five-to-ten-thousand bottles per year (small batch is normally anything under 60,000 bottles). They support small producers who prioritise eco-conscious farming practices; the wines are sustainably farmed and many are organic.
New releases for the Fair include Maltempo, a dry vibrant sparkling wine made with no added sugar, and with lively flavours of pear, lemon and apple; and Sparapani Brut Metodo Classico, made in the same way as champagne, dry with peach and citrus flavours and a nutty finish – a tasty drop for Christmas toasts!
