Nina Mall x Nina Park – Primeval Forest

This summer, Nina Mall, the flagship mall of the Chinachem Group in Tsuen Wan West, will take you through time and space to explore the ancient world. Visitors can have a sneak peak into Nina Park (opening at the end of the year) by embarking on a journey back into ancient times through their four senses: sight, hearing, smell and touch. This urban oasis themed on petrified wood includes more than 100 pieces of precious wood fossil collections. Millions of years of history are displayed and combined with innovative technology, experience halls for guests to understand the earth and interactive ways to understand the mysteries of nature.

What to expect:

#1 See the six-metre-tall “Adorable Inflatable Mammoth”! This giant mammoth welcomes everyone at the main entrance of the outdoor piazza of Nina Mall 1.

#2 Entering the atrium of the shopping mall is the “Forest of Exploration”. Walk on the soft grass, listen to the soothing sounds of the forest and stand under three giant four-metre-tall trees decorated with ring lights. Breathing in the fresh forest aroma (phytoncide) immediately brings you the relaxing feeling of being in the ancient forest.

#3 Learn about precious and rare petrified wood and animals from the Pliocene period, including mammoths, saber-toothed cats, sloths, meerkats and dodos. Plus take part in workshops organised by social enterprises and win some exclusive gifts!

#4 Follow the footprints of the mammoth to find the “Friends of the Forest” waiting for everyone to visit and already posing for you to take selfies with.

#5 Journey through the “Forest Corridor” which connects Nina Mall 1 and Nina Mall 2. This trail connects the forest and the city seamlessly, forming a perfect exploration route for shoppers.
