Banyan Tree Samui has created a spectacular romantic setting for a dinner for two. Cupid has aimed his bow at Meliá Chiang Mai, enticing couples for a romantic holiday with a special afternoon tea for two and romantic set dinner. The afternoon tea at Ruen Kaew Lounge (1-28 February; THB 999) includes the likes of mini strawberry sandwiches, classic Basque-style burnt cheesecake, and Lychee ice popsicles, with fine tea and fresh coffee. Cinema Under the Stars

Raffles Hotel Le Royal, the iconic 90-year-old luxury hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special screening of Ghost, the 1990 romantic fantasy movie starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. The film will be played poolside, under the stars, at the hotel’s Cinema Paradiso, with a variety of food and drinks including sparkling wine served ($30 per person). For something more traditional, enjoy the “Valentine’s Day Surf & Turf” at the hotel’s Le Phnom 1929, with a signature seafood tower and a resident band performing love songs.
