Unlimited golf at Laguna Lang Co, Central Vietnam: Holiday on the green, anyone?

16 March, 2017 by Expat Living 3 Min Read

https://expatliving.hk/unlimited-golf-at-laguna-lang-co-central-vietnam-holiday-on-the-green-anyone/

Golfing getaway gold is what this is. Stay at the Angsana Lang Co in Central Vietnam before 31 March 2015 and make the most of unlimited tee-offs at the 18-hole, par-71 Nick Faldo Championship Golf Course, Laguna Lang Co.

With a view like this, who cares if you don’t bag a birdie?
Almost there! The 17th hole at Laguna Lang Co
This course couldn’t look more like a screensaver if it tried!

This could be you!

The Absolute Angsana Lang Co package includes a complimentary breakfast buffet at Market Place
Golfing fuel!
Chill out with a sundowner at Moomba
Head to the cigar lounge at Rice Bar of an evening – why wouldn’t you?

Don’t forget your trainers!
Angsana Spa – where you’ll probably find the missus if she’s joining you on the trip!
All Terrain Vehicles! Oh yes, siree!
Sixty square metres of space and a private plunge pool – the Premier Room’s rock!
Taking the sprogs? Check them into the Kids Club for free

You won’t even have to forfeit your youngest’s school deposit to nab this package. It’s USD230++ per night (minimum two night stay) and includes plenty of other perks like breakfast at Market Place, late checkout, complimentary airport transfers and shuttles to Heritage Sites Hoi An and Hue.

Nor will you have to face the missus’ wrath if she’d hoped to visit Vietnam as a family. There’s a wicked Kids Club to keep the nippers happy, plus unlimited spa treatments at the award-winning Angsana Spa are thrown in too. Massages, facials, body polishes, private yoga sessions – you name it, it’s free. So play your cards right and she may not notice you’ve spent the better part of the day at the 19th hole.

Of course, you may quite fancy a little spa therapy yourself after traipsing around 18 holes, and we’re reliably informed that the 45-minute Angsana Blend massage is just the treatment to soothe aching muscles.

That, or a few sundowners at Moomba. Or Rice Bar, for that matter, with its aged whiskies, fine wines and rice brandies.

Back to that award-winning golf club, just a quick shuttle away from the main resort. While we’d struggle to put around it ourselves, the course was designed by six-time Major Championship winner Sir Nick Faldo and looks absolutely gorgeous. With its jagged mountain backdrop, open sea views and terrain that weaves through trees, streams, rice paddies and rock formations, it’s definitely one for the golfing bucket list.

Along with the pro shop, driving range and short game area, you’ve got all you need to swing your handicap into shape.

When you’re not showing off your backswing, taste Vietnamese cuisine at Rice Bowl, hike in the Annamite Mountain Range or head to the resort’s private beach for snorkeling, sailing, parasailing, water-skiing and jet skiing.

If it’s culture you want, culture you’ll get, chaps. Angsana’s got a fleet of cars, so you can make like a gap-year student on guided tours of the ancient cities of Hue and Hoi An, plus the Cham Kingdom Sanctuaries at My Son.

The Premier Room is included in the package and makes plush accommodation for a few hours of snoring. The private plunge pool with views over the East Sea and lagoon is pretty sweet, too!

Logistics-wise, it couldn’t be easier to make a weekend dash for this golfing paradise, with flights from Hong Kong to Da Nang taking less than two hours with Dragonair.

Ready to get booking? Head over to Angsana.com to snap up your stay. Tip: It’s best be on the, er, ball and reserve your daily golf fix in advance.
