Living In Hong Kong Things To Do

Things to do in Hong Kong this week: What’s on in Hong Kong 3-10 July

It seems like everyone is ready to be somewhere else but if you’re here for the long haul this summer, we’ve got you sorted. There’s some cool stuff happening this week, and there’s lots on for kids (just in case yours are climbing the walls already!)

4/7 Happy 4 of July!

To kick off your celebration of Independence Day Stone Nullah Tavern and Little Burro have organised a real American party experience. It will be an afternoon of fun over plenty of Fried Chicken, Gorgonzola slaw, Pasta Salad and Little Burro’s signature Tacos. There will be free flow drinks served by Nullah Tavern and DJ ReFlex will be playing some hip-hop, funk and soul tunes to get you in the mood. Tickets are HK$550, which includes free-flow food & drinks all afternoon on July 4. Enjoy! From 1pm to 5pm – Stone Nullah Tavern. For ticket enquiries, please contact Stone Nullah Tavern at 3182 0128 or Little Burro SoHo at 2336 0505.
4/7-24/7 Jockey Club Community Arts Biennale 2015 – Final Exhibition Celebration Ceremony

Sponsored by the Jockey Club and organised by HKYAF the biennale is an art exhibition based on neighbourhood stories and local craftsmen here in Hong Kong. This year 24 local professional artists and thousands of young people visited artistic communities and transformed these stories into 24 large-scale art installations exhibited all around Hong Kong. Following two previous events, this will be the Biennale’s final stop at ArtisTree to present its final and biggest exhibition. ArtisTree, 1/F Cornwall House, Taikoo Place.

5/7 Island East Markets

For something more home grown, head to Island East Markets every Sunday. They are offering a variety of fresh organic produce, arts & crafts, soft furnishings, live music and so much more. Lots of fun for the whole family! From 11am to 5.30am every Sunday – Tong Chong Street, Taikoo Place, Island East,
