Get ready for the GlamFest shopping fair!

18 September, 2018 by Melissa Stevens 3 Min Read

https://expatliving.hk/kowloon-bazaar-glamfest-shopping-fair/

It’s a highlight on many a calendar and this year organisers say GlamFest shopping fair will be bigger and better than ever. The annual lifestyle event will be held on Saturday, 1 September at the Regal Kowloon Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui and will see an exciting range of products and services on offer from businesses and artisans.

Shopping under one roof with an amazing array of international and local vendors is a unique experience in Hong Kong, and it promises a great day out for you and your girlfriends, with lucky draws, quality food and beverages, freebies and testers all part of the fun.

This is the twelfth year that organisers Deepa Nainani and Neerja Sujanani have put on this annual extravaganza for the community, and they say it will be a “fun and power-packed day out”.

“The fair will bring in a huge variety of vendors catering to shoppers’ needs for couture and designer wear, household items, fine and fashion jewellery, lifestyle products and services, fashion accessories, gift items, authentic handicrafts and much more,” Deepa says. Neerja adds, “The bazaars provide a unique platform for small and medium enterprises who often have no shopfront to showcase, market and sell their products and services to a mass of quality shoppers. With Hong Kong being a place where space is so expensive, the bazaar is a great avenue for these vendors to sell their products and services in this dynamic market.”

Here’s a highlight of some of the vendors who will be at the event, which runs from 11am to 8pm.

Artistryy

Artistryy  began as a dream between two friends, Khyati and Rashmi, who decided to incorporate their passion for art with everyday products. All Artistryy product designs are hand-painted and then converted into digital prints; these prints are then used to create items such as trays, mugs, cushion covers, platters and tea boxes. The pair also enjoy refurbishing and bringing life into old furniture by adding their unique style. Many mediums are used, including watercolour, acrylic and paper.
