Got littles one who loves to dance? Why not enrol them in kids’ dance classes for some extra fun and the chance to hone their skills. Island Dance has been bringing young dancers together for over 25 years, with the aim of building confident dancers. It’s established as one of the city’s most sought-after studios, with amateur performances at local events including Ocean Park, AIA Central Harbour front Carnival, and Hong Kong’s famous Cathay Pacific Chinese New Year Night Parade.
Managing Director MADHU KASHYAP says, “All our teachers are well qualified now, but were once young dancers themselves. They’re passionate about sharing their love of dance, whether the student is a seasoned dancer or totally new to dance. Everyone is welcome!”
The school offers ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) Hip Hop, Disco Freestyle, Tap, Jazz, Zumba, Bollywood and RAD Ballet for everyone from children aged 18 months up to pre-professional adult dancers, in over 15 venues across Hong Kong, Kowloon and Lantau. Adult classes are also available for mums.
Psst!… First-timers are welcome to attend a free trial class.
