June Hong Kong property: Hong Kong homes and apartments to buy and rent in Hong Kong

There’s no place like home. With an unexpected real rebound on the secondary market over Easter, the Hong Kong homes and Hong Kong property market has seen increases in sales of up to 90 percent compared to the same period last year. This dramatic buying frenzy may be due to the slashed prices from owners wanting to dispose of their properties while the market was hot. The period has seen deals closed between major houses and developers in spite of the double stamp duty imposed just a year ago. Despite the fact that the construction industry has boomed, developers need to make new plans for where to develop or redevelop in the primary market, since Hong Kong is always in need of new real estate.

While leasing has been very clogged for the first two quarters of this year, the summer has finally welcomed a few rare pieces of HK property on the market, especially on some prime and highly sought-after locations. As many clients are chasing similar products, it’s always an elbow-fight among those in the industry to find the perfect property HK. In spite of rarity, though, there’s always a roof for everyone.
