Hong Kong pet of the week: Carson is looking for a home

Looking to adopt a pet? Hong Kong’s shelters and rescue centres are overflowing with animals of all shapes and sizes just waiting for a forever home. Many have been abandoned or mistreated, while others have been left behind when their owners relocate. If you’re looking for a family pet, rescuing a dog or cat is a great way to give an animal a second chance. You may find the one your family is looking for right here on our new Pet of the Week page! This week we’re featuring two little lovelies who are being taken care of by the team at Sai Kung Stray Friends.

Puppies in Hong Kong

Rescued from the old Kai Tak Airport site a few years ago under a desexing programme, Carson was so stunning and with a good disposition that it was decided not to return him, as he is so adoptable!  Carson is approx. 3-4 years old and his appearance is like a big Teddy Bear. He is gorgeous looking and seems to have some golden retriever characteristics in his nature. His previous medical history was a jaw injury suspected from a car accident and a few patches of scars and missing hair on his leg but he is totally healthy and up to date with all vaccinations. Carson deserves a home and some tender love!  If you would like to meet Carson you will find him at the Rescue Kennels SAI KUNG STRAY FRIENDS FOUNDATION, No. 151 Tai Lam Wu, Sai Kung, New Territories.
