Learn a language without leaving home!

10 February, 2020 by Shamus Sillar 2 Min Read

https://expatliving.hk/home-tutoring-language-lessons-hong-kong-hkil/

Being able to speak a second or even third language brings enormous benefits – and children are brilliantly equipped to acquire languages quickly. But sometimes life gets in the way of learning. We’re all busy, right? How will we manage to fit regular after-school French classes into the kids’ weekly schedule? Or help our teens prepare for their foreign language exams? For some, the transport logistics can be tricky, or there may be safety issues in getting around. For others, the distance from home to the centre of learning can be too time-consuming. Home tutoring puts these concerns to rest.

Home tutoring with HKIL - cute litte boy

That’s why the Hong Kong Institute of Languages (HKIL) is offering six languages – English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin – that can be learnt in the comfort of your own home. This means that HKIL’s highly trained and experienced native teachers will come to wherever you live (currently available for Hong Kong Island) for private home tutoring for ages five to 18. So, you get all the benefits of the Institute’s language courses without going anywhere!

Special Offer:

Expat Living readers who book home tutoring right now with HKIL can enjoy a 20% discount on course fees. Visit hklanguages.com to find out more.

Why HKIL?

HKIL has taught languages to children, teens, adults, corporations and schools for well over 30 years. Tuition at the Institute is available in seven different languages – English, French, German, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese.  The specially designed courses help with every aspect of language learning, from preparing for language exams to meeting professional job requirements. According to the team, many students enrol simply because they see learning another language as a way to enhance their personal lives.

Kids learning at HKIL

When it comes to teaching kids, whether it’s at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, the school focuses on giving youngsters positive reinforcement to boost their confidence while strengthening their ability to communicate in a different language. Aside from the home tutoring outlined above, a full range of courses is available at HKIL both after school and on Saturdays for all ages and levels.
