Summer school holidays are just around the corner, so if you’re wondering what to do to keep the kids occupied, there are still plenty of great options when it comes to holiday camps and programmes. Here’s a selection:
#1 Woodland Pre-Schools: Summer Fun Programme and Summer Sports & Games Programme
Woodland’s new and reinvigorated Summer Fun Programme is taking on a whole new look this year! Each day will give your child access to exciting experiences in art and crafts, cooking, music, sports, and drama. The camps run over six weeks, with every week featuring a different theme. Children will be able to hone and develop their skills as they concentrate on a different activity each day of the week.
Also on offer is a Summer Sports & Games Programme, which will help children build strength, flexibility and endurance. The activities are suited to all, and existing students as well as non-Woodland children are welcomed. You can enrol for one week, or for the whole six-week course.

#2 ActiveKids: Holiday Camps
ActiveKids is offering a wide range of innovative themes for holiday camps through summer. Budding scientists will love the Science Adventures Camp, which takes a fun approach to topics like physics, space and life sciences or they might want to join the RoboCode Camp and learn about robotics and coding. Meanwhile, aspiring foodies will enjoy cooking up a feast in the Stormy Chefs Camps. For future fashion designers, the Mission Runway Camps will be perfect for your promising talented kids; and for the mindful bunch join the Chess Academy Camps and get a brain workout. #3 HK Kidz: Language and Activity Summer Camps
There’s plenty of research that shows the benefits for young children of learning a language. Why not make the experience fun for your little ones with one of the activity-packed language camps offered by HK Kidz? Camps in French, English, German, Spanish and Mandarin see little ones taken on a real-life adventure around the world, with culture and enrichment programs in creative arts, drama, music, science, cooking and more. #4 Twinkle Dance: Summer Dance Workshops
If you have a budding ballet dancer in your home, the summer holidays could be a good opportunity to introduce them to dance, or allow them to immerse themselves in their favourite pastime. Twinkle Dance is offering holiday camps at its Summer Dance Workshops. You can book a summer package of eight classes, and there’s even an opportunity for a backstage tour at the Hong Kong Ballet!
