As your social calendar gets busier with holiday season parties and celebrations, fashion lovers may want to consider some new pieces for your wardrobe. A new pair of beautiful shoes, or a statement piece of jewellery are a great way to add some versatility to your wardrobe and ensure that whatever the occasion you have something special to wear.
festive fashion: serenity fair shoes

Serenity Fair

If there’s one surefire way to give an outfit a lift and ensure you looked pulled together, it’s with the right footwear. Serenity Fair imports quality leather ladies shoes directly from Italy and has a great range of choices available. Founder and owner Adeline Ma says Serenity Fair specialises in flat and low heeled styles which are sold from their outlet in Central. They offer prices at 30 to 60 percent off retail in a wide selection of styles from sizes 35 to 41. “We are able to offer very reasonable prices as we source direct from manufacturers in Italy,” she says. “We work closely with our suppliers to procure fashionable, high quality shows at affordable prices.” Looking for something special for the party season? Check out their new Fall/Winter shoe collection on their website or visit their outlet at 409 Stag Building, 148 Queens Road, Central. Shoes are sold directly from their outlet and are not sold online.

The S.Nine by Susanna Soo line mixes New York style with French couture details

S.Nine by Susanna Soo

With a pedigree as impressive as Susanna Soo’s, it’s no surprise her designs have a legion of fans. The Parsons School of Design graduate has worked for Diane von Furstenberg in New York, a period in which she won the 2008 Arts of Fashion Award at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) for a sketch of her own collection. She has also apprenticed for French couturier Anne Valerie Hash in Paris. She then took those experiences as inspiration for her S.Nine by Susanna Soo line, which mixes New York style with French couture details. Designed for the modern woman, the line’s signature draping techniques give each garment a sense of style and function. Her distinctive dresses, tops, and skirts are perfect for special occasion dressing.

festive fashion: NUAN cashmere is a good choice for luxe dressing
NUAN cashmere is a good choice for luxe dressing

NUAN

Cashmere has to be one of the most luxe fabrics you can find, meaning cashmere is a surefire way to ensure you look effortlessly elegant. If you are looking for a piece to increase your festive fashion repertoire, consider NUAN. NUAN is the label of Irish-born designer Caoimhe Ryan, and it offers unique, 100 percent pure cashmere products, including undyed and unbleached “eco cashmere” yarn (cashmere in its raw colour). NUAN’s signature Coco Collection has designs that marry intrecciato, or basket-woven knit, with accent fringing. Caoimhe says she believes in the notions of “slow fashion” and “investment dressing”: in short, purchasing less clothing, but choosing high-quality items made with great care that can be worn for years.
