Weez Walk 2023

Co-organised by KELY Support Group and The Weez Project, Weez Walk 2023 returns with the recurrent theme of “Be The One” to raise public awareness of youth mental health and suicide prevention across Hong Kong. Between 14 January and 19 February 2023, participants can choose to complete the 62km Hong Kong Island Coastal Trail either in one go within 24 hours or by stages during the event period.

To make this virtual walk more intriguing, some competitive elements were added including real-time tracking, to allow participants to share their progress instantly with their friends and supporters when competing for the Best Timing. Various brilliant art pieces will also be showcased along the route for checking in and promoting mental health awareness. All net proceeds from this charity initiative will go to KELY to help develop and deliver our youth preventative mental health programmes.
