S2O Hong Kong Songkran Music Festival

The Thai festival of Songkran is celebrated every April with the splashing of water, to symbolically wash away bad luck and welcome the Thai New Year. This traditional festival has inspired the launch of the S2O Songkran Music Festival, an annual wet and wild festival combining Thai cultural customs with high-energy electronic dance and pop music.

For the first time ever, the festival will take place in Hong Kong on 5 and 6 August. Set against the backdrop of Central’s spectacular skyscrapers, historic landmarks and Victoria Harbour, S2O – the World’s Wettest Party! – will be held at the Central Harbourfront Event Space. The two-day event will feature powerful stage design, world-renowned DJs, local and regional musicians and a 360° water splashing system drenching fans while they sweat to the beats.
