‘Opportunity! WMA Annual Exhibition’ and Related Workshops
14 April - 23 April
This year’s WYNG Media Award (WMA), one of the largest photo contests in Hong Kong, will be held from 14 to 23 April at City Hall. Highlighting “Opportunity” as the theme, the exhibition and related workshops aim to encourage public discussion on important social issues such as education, conservation and land use.
Seven WMA Masters finalists, the WMA Commission grant recipient, and 10 finalists of the WYNG Philomathia Student Essay Contest will present their works. As part of the programme, the artists and relevant representatives will provide various workshops and guided tours to further engage the public and explore what ‘Opportunity’ means for the city and its people.
The winner of the WMA Masters will be announced at the opening ceremony of the exhibition on 13 April. He or she will receive a cash prize of HKD250,000, while each finalist will receive HKD15,000.
