Look: The Graphic Language of Henry Steiner

Look: The Graphic Language of Henry Steiner celebrates the achievements of the ‘‘Father of Hong Kong design” Henry Steiner’s storied career and his contribution to graphic design as a profession in Hong Kong since his arrival in 1961. Featuring Steiner’s works from the 60s through to the 2000s, the exhibition aims to provide a deeper understanding of graphic communication and an alternative reading of Hong Kong’s developments through graphic language. A selection of around 350 design items by Henry Steiner and archival materials will be on display. Featured works include the famous HSBC visual identity system, Hi-Graphic no. 5 magazine cover, the I Club visual identity system and more.
