Kidzilla Charity Fitness Competition 2021

14 August, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Kidzilla Charity Fitness Competition 2021

The Keep Moving Project, a Hong Kong-based social enterprise that is focused on spreading health and wellness, is launching the second annual KIDZILLA Fitness Challenge in support of LOVE21 and the Down syndrome and autistic community in Hong Kong. Through this fundraiser, The Keep Moving Project hopes to encourage a healthier way of living to the community and provide the next generation the best tools to tackle any challenge with heart and grit.

Climb to the top of Mount Everest with your friends and family
The height of Mount Everest is 8,849 meters and this will be the target of the challenge. However, the event will turn “meters” into “reps” so that anyone can participate. Conquer Mount Everest as many times as possible on 14 August from 10.30-11.30am at several locations throughout Hong Kong, including The Mills, Asphodel Performance & Fitness (kids members only) and TKO Plaza.

Interested parties can form a team of no more than four members for this challenge. Simply choose the total number of metres or reps of the team is going to commit to which can be more or less than 8,849. To complete the reps/metres, pick any movement: air squat, push ups, etc.  (1 rep = 1 meter), or pick an exercise like swimming, hiking, cycling, rowing etc. (performed for the actual distance).

Team members can choose to do the same movement/s or different movements – either together or with one person working at a time – as long as everyone moves in the same session. The goal is to achieve the number of reps or distance selected as the team’s target.

There are two ways to take part in  KIDZILLA 2021:
1. Take part in the fitness challenge on 14 August and fundraise OR
2. Simply donate and be part of the community.

All funds will be collected via Simplygiving: simplygiving.com/event/kidzilla2021
