Hazel Tsui: Footprint Mountain Children Series
29 May - 6 June
“Portraits of School Kids on Mountainous Areas of China” presents 25 oil paintings by Hazel Tsui of mountain children living in China. The exhibition was inspired by Hazel’s work over the past ten years as a volunteer for various charities to support children’s education programmes in the remote mountainous areas of mainland China. The photos she captured of primary school students – their memorable faces and scenes – are portrayed in realistic style paintings through the artists brush. The vibrant works convey the life of the children in the mountainous areas and the stories behind them, full of love and hope.
Proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to Footprints Foundation, a charity supporting school children in China, earthquake victims in Nepal and the elderly in Hong Kong.
