Haitong International 2017 Hong Kong Open Windsurfing Championships

Hong Kong’s largest annual windsurfing competition, the Haitong International 2017 Hong Kong Open Windsurfing Championships, is coming to Stanley. Windsurfers from around the world will compete at Hong Kong’s largest annual windsurfing competition from 1 to 5 November 2017 at Stanley Main Beach. Members of the public are invited to witness the exciting event from Stanley Main Beach, looking out onto the windsurfing course in Tai Tam Bay.
To mark the end of the competition, a windsurfing party will take place at Hong Kong Sea School on 5 November from 10am to 3pm to welcome wider audiences to enjoy and take part in this large-scale sporting event, and raise awareness of windsurfing among the Hong Kong public. Activities include windsurfing VR Game, free ice lollies, Navigating New Frontiers game, face painting and Atlantic bouncy castle. The Hong Kong Sea School is at 13-15 Tung Tau Wan Rd, Stanley.
Members of the public are also invited to participate in the Haitong International Windsurfing Photography Competition, for a chance to win a professional grade camera drone and GoPro HERO 6. For more information, visit Facebook.
