Cochin Cheese Night with Guinness World Record Holder
20 October, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 21 October, 2017 @ 12:00 am
Cochin Delicatessen, the French eatery located on Peel Street, is welcoming Patrice Marchand for a Cheese Night series. Marchand is co-founder of the renowned Les Freres Marchand (France) from 20-21 October. The family-run cheese establishment dates back to the 1880s and supplies some of the biggest restaurants and hotels around the world. The Marchand Brothers currently hold the Guinness World Record for the largest display of cheese varieties (2140 different ones). During dinner on both Friday and Saturday, Patrice will be introducing the special cheeses available at the restaurant and sharing his tips on pairings, how to store the perfect cheese, the art of maturing, how to host a tasting and much more. He will be around throughout the night for any questions so guests are welcome to make their reservations from 6pm onwards where they can enjoy a selection of cheeses in addition to their other Cochin favourites from the a la carte menu.
