NEVERMIND Baroque Ensemble Debut in Hong Kong
28 October, 2019 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Nevermind is a young French baroque quartet that is breaking down stereotypes and barriers associated with Baroque music. Featuring superstar harpsichordist Jean Rondeau with Anna Besson (flute), Louis Creac’h (violin) and Robin Pharo (viola da gamba), the ensemble formed while its members were students in Paris. With its young members, unconventional name and casual attitude, the quartet seeks to make period-instrument music accessible to a wider audience while breathing new life into Baroque music.
Nevermind will make its Hong Kong debut on 28 October at Hong Kong City Hall with a programme featuring French Baroque composers Couperin, Quentin, Guillemain and Marais, along with Telemann’s Paris Quartets.
