Recipe: Apricot Tropical Smoothie

9 September, 2020 by Expat Living 2 Min Read

https://expatliving.hk/apricot-tropical-smoothie-recipe/

Charissa Areington is a health and fitness nutritional coach in Hong Kong who believes there is no single ideal diet to suit all people. Her aim, instead, is to find out what works for each of us individually when it comes to our lifestyles and our health and fitness goals. Charissa is also an advocate for Nuzest, a premium supplement designed to provide the body with the balance of vitamins and minerals it needs. Each week, she’ll bring us a delicious smoothie recipe based on a Nuzest product that’s easy to make at home and full of flavour and nutrients. This week it’s a delicious Apricot Tropical Smoothie.

Apricot Tropical Smoothie - Recipe

“Using Nuzest Clean Lean Protein in the vanilla flavour is not only a great way to add additional clean plant-based protein to your smoothie but it is so easy to blend, and it gives you a subtle hint of vanilla between the tropical flavours.”

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of freshly chopped apricots
  • 1 cup of frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup of fresh cut strawberries
  • 1 cup of frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons of desiccated coconut
  • 1.5 servings of Nuzest Vanilla Clean Lean Protein
  • 1.5 cup of coconut water
  • 5 blocks of ice

Instructions

Blend all the ingredients together, pour into a glass jar and serve. Tip: for a stronger apricot flavour, use only 1/2 the cup of strawberries.
