Whether you’re a full-blown art lover or looking to decorate your home with a striking new painting or sculpture, there’ll be something to enjoy at this year’s Affordable Art Fair in Hong Kong. Hundreds of artists from Asia, Europe, Australia and America will be represented at this 10th anniversary edition of the Fair, including more than 200 who are attending for the first time. It all takes place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 18 to 21 May 2023.
Artists from near and far
This unmissable edition of the Affordable Art Fair sees the return of 90 local, national and international galleries showcasing both emerging and eminent talent. There’ll also be a series of Special Projects in the form of large-scale installations that pay homage to Hong Kong’s history, people and culture. And the fun and dynamic Creative Hub will host workshops and Art Education tours suitable for kids.
Since its first edition in 2013, the Fair has developed its mission to help more people discover the joy of collecting art. It has grown to further empower international galleries and artists, introducing extraordinary art into the homes of both established and first-time art buyers.

A visual artist management agency, Wasuka Art understands how difficult it is to start and maintain a career in the arts, so it helps artists develop their practice and careers by providing support and promotion.
ZtoryTeller
This gallery and creative studio based in Hong Kong connects artists and writers all over the world to let stories become collectable art. They aim to heal souls with art and stories.
6 Hong Kong-based artists to watch at the Fair
Yuho Chang
Chang’s paintings vary from abstracts to inks, with each featuring bold colours to convey and evoke emotion. Born in HK and raised in a traditional Shanghainese household, Yuho has also lived in Tokyo, Hawaii, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, garnering the global perspective behind the multicultural components of her art. Lingmuki
Born in Nanjing, Lingmuki moved to Hong Kong at 18 to develop her artistic talents. She earnt a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Art and Design here, and also studied in Japan and Italy. Yvonne Chow
Chow is currently a Visiting Professor of Shao Quan University School of Fine Arts and a member of multiple prominent art associations and institutes. Her paintings were nominated for the 12th National Exhibition of Fine Arts China in 2014 and her solo exhibitions have included “My Serenity” at Hong Kong City Hall in 2020. Gretchen So
A Hong Kong-based art photographer and educator, So has studied at the Yale School of Art and at Columbia University. She has received various awards, and has worked in the non-profit sector in New York and HK, where she also taught at SVA and RMIT, as well as SCAD and other higher education institutions. Andre Tan

Kin
While Kin is an introverted and reserved person, through his art he invites us to enter a world that is wonderfully colourful, full of whimsical characters and transcendent landscapes that seem to defy the laws of physics and reason.
